Company Overview
The mission of the After School Arts Program (ASAP), a nonprofit organization since 2004, is to provide opportunities for children (K-12) to create, collaborate, and express themselves through exposure to, and participation in, the arts under the guidance of arts professionals. The goals and objectives of ASAP’s programs are to use the arts as a catalyst for change, to provide arts opportunities in schools where there is limited or no arts education, and to help students achieve their fullest potential both academically and personally by encouraging growth through creative learning. ASAP achieves this mission through workshops, summer camps and programs, after and in-school and inter-district programs, and collaborations with other non-profit partners. ASAP’s service area is centered in Litchfield County however children from over 86 towns across Connecticut have participated in our programs. Visit AfterSchoolArtsProgram.org to learn more.
