Environmental Health Project

Company Overview

The Environmental Health Project (EHP) is a nonprofit public health organization that fights to keep health
considerations central to policy decisions around shale gas development. EHP’s support to a variety of
stakeholders includes health impact assessments, environmental and health monitoring, data and research
interpretation, and public health guidance. With offices in the Pittsburgh and New Haven areas, EHP’s team comprises a varied and skilled group of health care professionals, scientists, community educators, analysts, and communications experts. The organization opened in 2012 and has become a national leader in the comprehensive understanding of, and response to, the public health consequences of shale gas development. As we expand our geographic footprint, we seek to drive more consideration of the public health implications of shale gas development in local, state, and national policy.
